Assistant Professor Dr. Sanaa Abdulhadi Hafad from Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center-University of Technology/IRAQ participated in the first international conference of Engineering Science (INTCSET 2020) by presenting a scientific paper titled "The effect of adding sawdust to cement on the property of thermal conductivity and compressive strength" which was held by Al-Farahidi University / Iraq for the period From 15-16 of December, 2020.
The conference proceeding will published in the journal material science and engineering IOP conference series (which is indexed in scopus database)

The Asst. Prof. Salman Hussain Omran from Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center, University of Technology-Iraq participated in the 13th annual (second international conference) scientific electronic (On line) conference of the Al-Turath University in cooperation with the Scientific Technical Firm Association. The conference was hold on Saturday 5/12/2020, where Asst. Prof. Salman Hussain was the chairman of the main opening session of the conference.

About the patent:
The current invention is based on a foundation with a rectangular configuration to be placed on the road surface in a plane parallel to the surface to detect the vehicles that cross the road through the load sensor that each vehicle exerts on the sensor as a force applied transversely to its longitudinal axis, which means determining the loads imposed on the road resulting from the passage of different vehicles.

About the research:
This research reviews, classifies and discusses the most important developments in the field of dust research and cleaning of photovoltaic panels. The study focused on the effect of cleaning methods on the efficiency of the PV system. In this study a unique review where many highly valued publications in this area are discussed. In addition to the review of recent studies related to photoelectric cleaning, which were reviewed in terms of simplicity, cost-effectiveness and impact on energy production and efficiency. The best method in terms of technical and economic aspects of a given system related to the environmental parameters of the site is determined by the proposed methodology.
