About the Department:

 This department deals with the following topics
1- Conducting theoretical and applied studies in the field of developing water distillation
 systems and adopting solar energy and improving the performance efficiency of existing ones.
2- Conducting practical research to improve the efficiency of the performance of the solar
 heater and contribute to the development of what is available in the local markets.
3- Conducting economic feasibility studies for solar thermal energy systems, thus contributing
 to the expansion of its use and the use of its technologies.
4- Contribution to the projects of graduate students and the initial establishment of joint
 projects for thermal applications using solar energy.
5- Conducting theoretical and applied studies for the use of solar energy for the purposes of
 heating water in the industrial facilities and swimming pools, thus contributing to rationalize
 the consumption of traditional energy used for this purpose.
6- Conducting theoretical and applied studies related to the use of construction techniques and
 thermal insulation, which contributes to rationalize the consumption of traditional energy used
 for the process of building adaptation.
