Asst. lecturer Waleed Kahlid Hussain from our center granted a patent from Central Organization for Standardization and Quality/Ministry of Planning under No. 5479 on 5^th of September 2018 within the classification F25B21/02 entitled:

“New Design and Implementation of Electromechanical Air Conditioning and Heating System Working by Renewable energy and Semiconductors Materials (NTECAR)”

In this patent, an entirely new electromechanical conditioning and heating system have been design and implemented by converting electric energy into heat or cold by using semiconductors. It is power by renewable energy such as solar panels or other sources of renewable energy because it requires relatively a little amount of electric energy. It has an acceptable economic cost because it doesn’t need gas coolers or compressors or pipes or external pieces. This system is very useful in modern electric cars or in traditional cars that work by fuel, both being economical in consumption energy also it is possible to use this system in homes or departments or institutions for the purpose of air conditioning depending on renewable sources of energy or electricity. This can be used for heating and cooling purposes in remote or border areas that do not have any electrical power source.

The system was tested in the cooling and heating rooms and saloon car and it shows a great success and it can be considered as a huge step in heating and cooling field or in the use of renewable energies or in the preservation of the environment or in the industry field of the modern or traditional cars and in domestic electrical appliances. It offers high performance, good efficiency, low power consumption, acceptable economic cost and long working life.
