A delegation of the teaching staff of the Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center-University of Technology/Iraq includes Assistant Prof. Salman Hussein Omran, Assistant Lecturer Diaa Najm Abdul Amir and Assistant Lecturer Walid Khaled Hussein participated in a workshop entitled "Industrial Investment" that was held at the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, which is a Department of Economic Studies that was one of the formations of the National Security Adviser on 9/22/2020 in the presence of the Assistant Director General, Engineer Muhammad Al-Aqili, and a number of specialists and researchers in the matter. Prof. Dr. Ali Adham, Head of the Economic Studies Department at the Center, chaired the session while Assistant Professor Salman Hussein Al-Saadi (from the Energy and Renewable Energy Technology Center - University of Technology/Iraq) was the Session Reporter. During the workshop, a group of research papers were presented tagged (industrial strategy in Iraq, the industrial sector, industry is our only option, and the reality of industrial projects for the private sector in Iraq). The workshop included multiple discussions and interventions made by the participants to find out the problems that hinder industrial investment in Iraq in order to reach effective solutions and come up with recommendations that are feasible for serving our dear country, Iraq. The workshop was attended by a group of researchers, specialists and businessmen. At the end of the workshop, the attendees were honored with certificates of participation in appreciation of their efforts made.
