Manager's speech
The Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center is one of the scientific institutions at the University of Technology. It aims to contribute in supporting the scientific and developmental renaissance in the country by holding and completing pioneering research and projects in the field of renewable energy that serve the national economy and achieve the goals of sustainable development plans. The center also aims to contribute to spreading the culture of using renewable energy to obtain clean and environmentally friendly energy by raising awareness of the benefits of solar photovoltaic systems, wind energy, solar thermal energy, energy storage, biofuel, and water energy in preserving the environment from pollution, global warming, and climate change.
The center aspires to build bridges of synergy between academic and applied research and the industrial and social sectors in the fields of renewable energy and sustainability. In addition, cooperating with universities and research centers at the local and international levels in the field of scientific research related to renewable energy and sustainability.
