Participation of the Center in the 16th International Conference on Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Egypt 2013
A number of lecturers at the University of Technology (Baghdad/IRAQ) participated in the 16th International Conference on Petroleum and Mineral Resources held at the Petroleum Research Institute, Cairo/Egypt on 10-12 February 2013. Under the auspices of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Osama Kamal and Minister of Scientific Research and Technology Dr. Nadia Iskandar Zakhari, where more than 177 researches were presented in the conference sessions from Egypt, Iraq, UAE, Sudan and Brazil.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Director of the Petroleum Research Institute, welcomed the research professors and expressed his deep pride in the participation of Iraqi researchers in the activities of this conference. He hoped that the research partnerships will be repeated in a way that enhances scientific research and exchange experiences. Scientific research and research in the field of oil and gas research and renewable energies represented by solar energy and biofuels.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh accompanied Iraqi researchers from the University of Technology in a field visit to the scientific exhibition, which included many laboratory equipment and industrial products to the Institute's departments as well as the companies supporting the conference.During the conference, the research presented by our lecturers titled:
